Roof Repair Company Leak Free Guarantee

Our promise

If any roofing component Roof Repair Company removed and replaced on your job leaks because of how we installed it, we will repair that workmanship defect — labor and materials — at no charge to you, for as long as you own the home.

On a Permanent Roofing Repair, this guarantee covers only the area and components we removed and replaced on that job. It does not cover the rest of your roof.

What's covered

• Shingle nailing and alignment
• Underlayment and ice-and-water placement
• Decking we replaced
• Step, counter, apron and valley flashing we installed
• Pipe boots and penetrations we replaced
• Ridge, hip and ventilation we installed
• Drip edge and starter we installed
• The sealing of everything we touched

What's not covered

• Storm, hail, wind, falling trees or debris, fire, flood, or any event after completion (that is your homeowner's insurance — we will document it for your claim)
• Manufacturer defects in the materials themselves (covered by the manufacturer's warranty — we will file it with you)
• Work by anyone else after us (solar, satellite, HVAC, plumbing, painters, gutters, other roofers)
• Structural movement, settling, or framing failure
• Animals or pests
• Leaks from parts of the home we did not work on (siding, windows, chimney masonry, skylight glass, roofing we were not hired to replace)
• Lack of reasonable maintenance (clogged gutters, debris in valleys)
• Maintenance or sealant-only service visits (those carry their own 1-year service warranty and are not part of this guarantee)

Two kinds of repair

Transfer

On a full roof replacement, this guarantee may be transferred one time to the next owner of the home if the sale closes within 10 years of the completion date and we receive the transfer request with proof of ownership transfer (closing statement or recorded deed) within 30 days of closing. Submit to office@roof.day. After transfer, the guarantee continues for the new owner's period of ownership and is not transferable again. Guarantees on Permanent Roofing Repairs are not transferable.

How to make a claim

Call or text (713) 489-4265 or email office@roof.day. We come out, we look, we tell you straight what it is. If it is our workmanship, we schedule the fix. No deductible, no trip charge. We respond promptly — in most cases we are on the roof within two business days.

Term

Lifetime of the original homeowner's ownership of the home, beginning on the job completion date, with the job paid in full. Each qualifying job comes with a printed certificate listing the components covered. This guarantee runs alongside, and does not replace, any manufacturer warranty (for example GAF Golden Pledge®).
